Man who united thousands of Canadian Christians and Muslims against LGBT+ communities plans to do so again

LAST month devout Muslim Kamel El-Cheikh, inset above, organised a “Million Person March” to protest “the indoctrination” and “compulsion” that he alleged goes on in Canadian schools with regard to sexual orientation and gender.

Nowhere near a million ralllied to his cause, but the rabble-rouser did succeed in uniting thousands of Muslim and Christian bigots who have have just one thing in common: their hatred of gay and trans people.

Fortunately, significant numbers turned out to counter-protest the march.

When asked if Canadian Muslims were being influenced on this issue by Christian nationalist groups in the U.S., El-Cheikh said no.

According to the Multicultural Meanderings blog that notion, El-Cheikh said, was “disrespectful” and “demeaning” to Muslims in Canada, suggesting they are “gullible and naïve” and that they need Americans to “tell us what to think.”

Blog author Andrew Griffiths added:

And yet, while not using any of the far-right Christian nationalist rhetoric that is common in the U.S., El-Cheikh did use terms familiar to that movement—things like ‘the fabric of Canada is changing,’ that we need to ‘get back to what Canada stood for,’ and that he wants it to be ‘one nation under God.’

Now its reported by far-right, conspiracy-toting LifeSiteNews that El-Cheikh is planning a “Worldwide Stop the War on Children Rally” to be held throughout the country on October 21.
